After selling out the NYE Gala on December 31st, 2019 - we were beyond excited to begin planning 2020’s event. However, the universe had other plans. We look forward to a time (hopefully soon) that we can all celebrate together. Thanks to everyone who made it out in 2019!
The event benefited The Orion Group's flagship platform: The Orion Fellowship
In the winter of 2013, a group of friends hosted a holiday party for their collective network. The turnout exceeded expectations and the group decided that the following year they would host a similar gathering, but with a handful of toys as the cost of entry.
Two years later the event had donated thousands of dollars in toys through an informal partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM). It was at this point that the organizers of the event realized they had a larger appetite for giving back. Thus, The Orion Group (TOG) was born.
The Gala continued with the BGCTM as it’s beneficiary during TOG’s first two years of operation during which TOG refined its mission and plan of execution. The Gala now benefits TOG’s flagship platform: The Orion Fellowship.
